Kids and Conservation
Since it began in January 2009, Pennies for the Planet has been a hit with kids and classrooms across the nation! Read about some of the kids and classrooms that are making the campaign a success!
Toyota Employees

Toyota Executive Pat Pineda, NYC Parks Commissioner Adrian Benepe, New York Restoration Project Executive Director Drew Becher, and Audubon Board Chair Holt Thrasher participated in a volunteer tree planting at Floyd Bennett Field. Over 120 volunteers came out, including Toyota employees and National Audubon staff, with 1,000 trees planted. TogetherGreen Fellows Keith Russell and Mike Burger were also on-hand.
